Calling Startups in Supply Chain Innovation

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission is tackling the problem of the “homework gap,” which is encountered by communities where schoolchildren don’t have reliable Internet access at home. In such communities, teachers are reluctant to assign homework to their students, as they lack confidence that it can be successfully completed. This problem, which has been exacerbated by the increase in distance learning during the pandemic, can lead to significant inequities in education.
