Tim Cook recently called the iPad “the most popular tablet in the world”. If there’s one arena where the iPad has failed to dominate, it’s the classroom.
The cheaper Google Chromebook has been courting teachers for years. It’s not just cost that’s keeping iPads out of classrooms. Many students who attend elite private schools and selective public schools do not have tablets or laptops in the classroom due to the dangers of technology use and screen time on developing minds.
